Bring your non-perishable items
(canned fruit, veggies, meals, and meats) to the Bloch School of Business
and
drop them into one of the Harvesters blue donation barrels located:

• Inside 2nd floor entranceway
• By the 1st floor vending machines
• In the common areas on ground level

PASA EVENT(Come shape the future of Kansas City) Pizza and PASA meetingLocation: Cookingham Conference Room 3rd Floor Bloch School(across from 301 /Levitt Lounge) Wednesday, April 1 @ 5:00PM    

Please join PASA for the next Pizza and PASA meeting, Wed., April 1, 5pm-7pm in the Cookingham Conference Room (glass conference room, 3rd Floor). They will talk briefly about PASA elections and plans for next year, but focus mainly on the Imagine KC project.

Come discuss sustainability in KC and submit recommendations on behalf of PASA and the MPA program. Click here for more info on Conversation-in-a-Box.All MPA students, faculty, and friends are invited to attend.  

Your feedback will be used to validate, redefine and add detail to our regions strategic goals, which will then be communicated to local elected officials, planners and community leaders. , which will then be communicated to local elected officials, planners and community leaders. This is a chance for you to tell our leaders what Greater Kansas City should accomplish by the year 2040.

  •  Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN) Happy Hour: Tuesday, Oct 14th, 5-7:30pm. Location TBA. PASA will join YNPN for networking and socializing, professional development opportunities, knowledge sharing, and information about job openings.
  • October 29, 2008 at 6:30 pmRoyal Hall Room #111PASA Presents : Light Rail and Combined Sewers: Discussing these Challenges to Kansas City  Several guest panelists will be speaking on two current initiatives in Kansas City: the proposed Light Rail ballot  initiative and the Combined Sewer issue.UMKC students, faculty, and others are invited to attend and learn more about these two issues, how they affect the Kansas City area and next steps for those involved. We encourage you to attend. It should be a great event for everyone in attendence. We look forward to seeing you there!Thank you,

  • Service Nation Day of Action: Saturday, Sept 27, 8:30-11am. Interested in giving back to the community? PASA is looking for volunteers to join thousands of communities around the nation for Service Nation Day of Action. Volunteers will meet at the Bloch School and carpool to Harvesters - The Community Food Network to help sort and repackage food.
